The trademark specifies "online videogames" which may mean that something new is in the works.
It's been a while since we've heard anything about 'Killer Instinct,' but a recent trademark renewal could point to something coming down the pipes. Microsoft renewing the trademark on the game isn't surprising, but filing it as an "online videogame" does raise some eyebrows. It could also mean nothing at all. We're not ruling that out. A Microsoft representative had, as you might imagine, no comment.
