'Metalocalypse: Season Four' Blu-ray Announced and Detailed

The fourth season of the popular animated comedy TV series will rock Blu-ray in October.

In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers is prepping 'Metalocalypse: Season Four' for Blu-ray on October 30.

The wait is almost over as the almighty Dethklok will return to Blu-ray and DVD with the complete season 4 of Metalocalypse. This season features guest appearances from the likes of Corpsegrinder (Cannibal Corpse), Cam Pipes (3 Inches Of Blood), Dweezil Zappa, actor Jon Hamm and director Werner Herzog.

2012 is a big year for Adult Swim’s favorite metal band. They will be performing live from USS Midway in July at Comic Con, headlining a 34 date concert tour starting this August, and releasing a new album this fall.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Facebones DethGame, Fan art tribute, "Black Klok" montage sequence, Tribunal BTS, and Nathan reads Shakespeare #4: A Comedy of Errors.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
