MGM has announced two new additions to its growing James Bond Blu-ray collection, setting a mid-May arrival for 'License to Kill' and 'The Man with the Golden Gun.'
Though largely considered two of the weaker entries in the 007 canon, MGM (via Fox Home Entertainment) will give both the high-def makeover on May 12.
Final specs are not yet in, but if past Bond Blu-ray titles are any indication, look for remastered 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround tracks, and all of the extras found on previous DVD editions.
There's still no word yet if MGM/Fox will also be bundling 'License to Kill' and 'The Man with the Golden Gun' in a James Bond box set (as with previous Blu-ray releases), but we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price for each Bond title has been set at $34.95.
You'll find the latest specs for 'License to Kill' and 'The Man with the Golden Gun' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where they're indexed under May 12.
