The 2001 musical nominated for eight Academy Awards (winning two) is coming to Blu-ray in October.
In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox has revealed 'Moulin Rouge' starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor is headed for a Blu-ray release on October 19.
Baz Luhrmann's indescribable film landed the 2002 Oscars for Best Art Direction/Set Decoration and Best Costume Design.
Specs have not been set yet, but supplements will include: Introduction by Baz Luhrmann; A Creative Adventure; Uncut and Unreleased Footage; Production Featurettes (The Stars, The Writers, The Dance, The Music, The Design, and The Cutting Room); The Making of Moulin Rouge; and the Blu-ray exclusive Spectacular, Spectacular Picture-in-Picture Viewing Mode - With audio commentary by Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martin, Donald M. McAlpine and Craig Pearce, and featuring behind-the-scenes footage and stills plus BD-Live.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.99.
