With no formal advance warning, Lionsgate has postponed its second
wave of Blu-ray titles originally due in stores today by one week to August
29.
All four titles -- 'The
Devil's Rejects,' 'Stargate,'
'Total Recall'
and 'Stir of Echoes'
-- were quietly yanked from their original August 22 street date by Lionsgate
due to "last-minute production delays" that would have prevented them
for reaching all stores in time.
Note that the bump will not affect any of the disc's technical specs or bonus
features, and retail remains set at $29.95 each.
The street date change has been noted on our Blu-ray
Release Schedule, and we also hope to have full reviews for all four titles
beginning at the end of this week. Stay tuned...
