Several new in-wall and in-ceiling speaker models for the professional custom integration market have been detailed.
Klipsch has announced the latest additions to its speaker lineup. The new Professional Series Reference Premiere Architectural speaker collection includes three in-wall models (PRO-160RPW, PRO-180RPW, and PRO-250RPW LCR) and two in-celling models (PRO-16RPC, PRO-180RPC).
"This premium series is the first of four-new custom-install speaker lines that Klipsch will introduce this year," said Rob Standley, vice president and GM of component audio solutions. "We are excited to showcase approximately 30 new speaker solutions at CEDIA (Klipsch booth 4110) in September. This good, better, best model is available exclusively to our network of custom integrators as they provide the best installation, value, and experience to consumers," he continued.
The Professional Series Reference Premiere Architectural speaker lineup is designed for the professional custom integration market, and combines the aesthetics of an architectural speaker with the award-winning acoustics of the Klipsch Reference Premiere home theater speaker collection. The speakers feature Tractrix horns for controlled directivity of high frequencies, a silicon composite coating to reduce high frequency resonance, titanium dome tweeters for minimized distortion, and Cerametallic woofers for powerful low frequencies. In addition, the series uses the new proprietary SecureFit two-piece modular installation system to provide a more robust, stable acoustic platform along with an easy one-personal installation. Finally, the speakers have been made to blend seamlessly into different environments, with flat, paintable, magnetic grilles that are bezel-free. Likewise, the in-ceiling models include both round and square grilles to fit any interior design.
Exact pricing for the new Klipsch Professional Series Reference Premiere Architectural speaker lineup has not been announced yet.
