Two new sound bar models have been revealed.
Klipsch has announced the latest additions to its lineup of home audio products. The new collection includes the BAR 48 and BAR 40 sound bars.
The BAR 48 is a 3.1 sound bar system with a dedicated center channel and a wireless 8-inch subwoofer. In addition, the device offers support for built-in Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS, and DTS-HD surround sound processing. Designed with a slim profile for easy placement, the sound bar measures 48-inches long and 2.8-inches tall. Likewise, the unit can also be wall-mounted. Bluetooth connectivity and a remote control are included as well. And for users who want a true 5.1 experience, the BAR 48 can be paired with optional SURROUND 3 satellite speakers as well. The BAR 48 is now available for an MSRP of $499, and the SURROUND 3 speakers are available for an MSRP of $249 for a pair.

Meanwhile, the BAR 40 is a 2.1 sound bar system with a wireless 6.5-inch subwoofer. In addition, the device features a built-in Dolby Audio decoding and virtual surround sound modes. The unit measures 40-inches long and 2.8-inches tall. Bluetooth connectivity and a remote control are included as well. The BAR 40 is now available for an MSRP of $299.
