Helping to fill the surprising dearth of martial arts-themed titles on high-def, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release the Jet Li actioner 'Fearless' on HD DVD this holiday.
The sleeper hit will chop its way into stores on December 19 as an HD DVD/DVD combo disc, with the unrated version of the film on the HD DVD side, and both Unrated and PG-13 versions on the flip. (How's that for a postmodern triple lutz?)
Specs include a 2.40:1 widescreen 1080p/VC-1 video transfer and a 1.5mbps Dolby Digital-Plus soundtrack. Among the extras are two featurettes and more to be announced.
Retail will be a suggested list of $39.98.
We've added a list for 'Fearless' to our HD DVD Release Schedule, and stay tuned for final specs and box art to be announced shortly.
