'Ip Man' Announced for Blu-ray

The Hong Kong action flick from the trio behind 'Kill Zone' is coming to Blu-ray in two flavors this July.

Well Go USA is preparing to release Wilson Yip's 'Ip Man' and 'Ip Man: Collector's Edition' starring Donnie Yen and featuring action choreographed by Sammo Hung on Blu-ray on July 27.

Grossing over $21 million at the Asian box office, the critically-acclaimed film has been nominated for numerous awards, including an unprecedented 12 Hong Kong Film Award nominations, winning Best Film and Best Action Choreography.

'Ip Man 2' will be released theatrically by Well Go USA in early 2011.

Specs haven't been revealed yet, but only the Collector's Edition will contain bonus features which will include: Interviews with Director and Actors, including 20 Minutes with Donnie Yen; “The Making of Ip Man” press; deleted scenes; trailers; TV spots; photo gallery; and a sneak peek at 'IP Man 2.'

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $26.98 ($32.98 for the Collector's Edition).
