'Half-Minute Hero' Comes to Steam

'Half-Minute Hero', or as the new version is known, 'Half Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy,' has finally made it to Steam. If you haven't played it, 'Half-Minute Hero' is a game that lampoons the JRPG genre while providing a completely different playstyle.

The general conceit is that the world will be ending in 30 seconds, so you need to grind levels, buy gear, and finish off the boss before time is up. You have ways of extending your time of course, but each level tends to run for five or so minutes at most. While most JRPG style games are slower and more patient, 'Half-Minute Hero' goes at full speed from start to stop.

The game is on Steam now for $8.99. The price goes up to $9.99 on October 4th.
