Eligible 360, PS3, and PC players can take part now.
While one huge game suffers from on ongoing lack of functional online play, another huge series played by millions online is entering a online beta weeks ahead of its release. 'Battlefield 4' is due on the 360, PS3, and PC October 29th, (with Xbox One and PS4 versions coming later), but from now through the October 4th, eligible players can take part in an online beta on the 360, PS3, and PC.
While this beta is limited to players who have pre-ordered the deluxe version of 'Battlefield 4,' have a 'Battlefield 3' premium membership, or one of the fancy editions of 'Medal of Honor: Warfighter,' the beta will become open after October 4th and is expected to run until October 15th.
From EA, "The Exclusive Battlefield 4™ Beta is now online! Between October 1-4, eligible gamers can get a taste of the Conquest and Domination game modes on the Siege of Shanghai map, to help us make Battlefield 4 better. Learn how to access the Exclusive Battlefield 4 Beta - and the upcoming Open Beta (starting October 4)."
