Former Evolution Studios Director moving on to an indie studio.
Sony's 'DriveClub,' which was set to release with the PS4 before suffering from a series of delays and even a possible a restart, has now lost its Game Director. Amid a series a layoffs across Sony-owned studios in the UK, Col Rogers announced that he would be leaving his position as Game Director at Evolution Studios to become part of a new indie studio, BigRedSwitch Games.
Rodgers leaves Sony after leading 'DriveClub' and 'MotorStorm' as well as SCEE as a whole and even a prior long stint at Codemasters and the 'GRID' series.
'DriveClub' appears to be in bad shape, so bad that it has been completely disassociated with Sony's Project Morpheus VR prototype after being the key demonstration piece some eight months ago.
