The Unnecessarily Extended Edition arriving on Blu-ray in August is now available for pre-order.
In an early announcement to retailers, Disney/Buena Vista will be releasing 'Muppets Most Wanted' on Blu-ray on August 12.
Muppets Most Wanted picks up immediately following the events of the The Muppets as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, the Great Gonzo, Animal and the entire Muppet gang head out on a world tour. But mayhem follows, as the Muppets find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine, the World's Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit the Frog. Soon Kermit is behind bars at the mercy of prison warden Nadya (Tina Fey), and the World's Number One Criminal, Constantine -- a dead ringer for Kermit -- has taken his place.
The Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack will include The Original Theatrical Cut, the Statler and Waldorf Cut, and The Unnecessarily Extended Cut and will feature 1080p video, a lossless 7.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: The Longer Longest Blooper Reel in Muppets History; Rizzo's Biggest Fan; "I'll Get You What You Want" Music Video Performed by Bret McKenzie; Frog-E-Oke: I'm Number One; and more!
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
