The next DC animated feature coming in August has been detailed. Pre-orders are now live.
As previously reported, Warner Bros. is preparing 'Batman: Assault on Arkham' for Blu-ray later this year, and now the date has been set for August 12.
Based on the hit video game series, Batman must find a bomb planted by the Joker while dealing with a mysterious team of villains called, The Suicide Squad. Starring the vocal talents of Kevin Conroy, Eliza Dushku, Matthew Gray Gubler, Neal McDonough, and CCH Pounder. Directed by Jay Oliva.
The Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy Combo Pack will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Arkham Analyzed: The Secrets Behind the Asylum – This is the documentary that traces the strange, demonic history of the location where horror is mixed with the extremities of the criminally insane. A place where Batman must keep his watchful gaze, to insure that what goes in does not come out... ever; The Joker's Queen: Harley Quinn – If The Joker were to have a girlfriend, what would she be like? This featurette covers the story of the deviancy and often provocative side to The Joker's greatest ally, Harley Quinn; An advance look into the next DC animated feature film with the creators and cast; and Four episodes from the DC Comics Vault.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet combo pack is $24.98.
