The sequel nobody ever expected is coming to high-definition at the end of October.
In a surprise announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers has revealed 'A Christmas Story 2' for Blu-ray on October 30.
Apparently Ralphie is back as a teenager eyeing a car for the holidays in this 2012 follow-up to the fan-favorite 1983 comedy classic.
The Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, but supplements have yet to be revealed.
Suggested list price for the releases is $35.99.
