Marcio Garcia's coming-of-age film will be coming to Blu-ray in May.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal is working on 'Open Road' for Blu-ray on May 21.
Where will the road take her? Angie (Camilla Belle) is a free spirit living on her own terms and occasionally waitressing to make money. But when she makes connections with a drifter (Andy Garcia), a handsome cop (Colin Egglesfield), and his sister (Juliette Lewis), she finds herself torn between her life of absolute freedom and being tied to people who care about her. Beautifully filmed and acted, it's an inspiring film about love in all its many forms.
The Blu-ray/Ultraviolet release will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include a making-of featurette.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
