The quirky comedy will time travel to Blu-ray this fall.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony is working on 'Safety Not Guaranteed' for Blu-ray on October 30.
When an unusual classified ad inspires three cynical Seattle magazine employees (Aubrey Plaza, Jake M. Johnson, Karan Soni) to look for the story behind it, they discover a mysterious eccentric named Kenneth (Mark Duplass), a likable but paranoid supermarket clerk, who believes he's solved the riddle of time travel and intends to depart again soon. Together, they embark on a hilarious, smart, and unexpectedly heartfelt journey that reveals how far believing can take you..
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements include: A Movie Making Mission Featurette - providing a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film with director Colin Trevorrow and various cast members; The Ad Behind the Movie Featurette - a look at the original ad that inspired the movie; and Time Capsule-Easter Egg.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $35.99.
