The concert documentary from Jonathan Demme is on route to Blu-ray in a few weeks.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony will release 'Neil Young Journeys' on Blu-ray on October 16.
Shot during the last two nights of Neil Young’s 2011 Le Noise world tour, long-time fan and collaborator Jonathan Demme captures the multiple GRAMMY® winner, and two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee with a stunning intimacy both on stage and off. The documentary follows Young, traveling from his hometown of Omemee, Ontario to Toronto's iconic music venue, Massey Hall, in a 1956 Ford Crown Victoria, while sharing stories about his life and childhood.
The Blu ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include:Making Journeys featurette; Journey to Slamdance: A Conversation with Neil Young & Jonathan Demme featurette; 92nd Street Y Talks with Neil Young & Jonathan Demme featurette; and Theatrical Trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $35.99.
