It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a documentary on the public school systems coming to Blu-ray this February!
In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is prepping 'Waiting for Superman' for Blu-ray on February 22.
The documentary is directed by Davis Guggenheim ('An Inconvenient Truth') and won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include: Four additional inspiring teacher/student stories, The making of "Shine" -- the film's title track -- by musician John Legend, A conversation with director Davis Guggenheim, and apparently every Blu-ray will include a $20 gift card to donate to a local school.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
