The film chronicling the early years of boxer Micky "Irish" Ward (played by Mark Wahlberg) will knock out Blu-ray next month.
In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount has revealed 'The Fighter' will be available on Blu-ray on March 15.
The drama is currently ranked #218 in IMDb.com's Top 250 and was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Supporting Actress (Amy Adams, Melissa Leo), Best Supporting Actor (Christian Bale), Best Achievement in Directing (David O. Russell), and Best Picture of the Year.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include: Commentary by director David O. Russell, The Warriors Code: Filming The Fighter, Keeping the Faith, Deleted scenes (with optional commentary), and Theatrical trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
