Posted Nov 9, 2010 at 12:00 PM PST by Tom Landy

The wolfpack animated adventure is slated for Blu-ray in January.

In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate has planned 'Alpha and Omega' for Blu-ray on January 11.

The film features the voices of Justin Long, Hayden Panettiere, Danny Glover, and Dennis Hopper and although the film was shown theatrically in 3D, a Blu-ray 3D version has yet to be announced.

Specs have yet to be revealed, but the release appears to be a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack and supplements include: Interactive Game: "Log Sliding", Wolves in the Wild: featurette, The Alpha of Animation, Voicing the Wolves, From Alpha to Omega, Personality Test: Are You an Alpha or an Omega?, and Animal Fun Facts Trivia.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
