David Lee Madison's retro slasher is bound for Blu-ray in August.
In an early announcement to retailers, Horizon Movies is prepping 'Mr. Hush' for a Blu-ray release on August 7.
How does a man react when he loses everything he loves? Mr. Hush has an answer: with brutal, terrifying violence. A frightening throwback to the slasher films of the 1980s, this is a classic horror flick that is hard to shake.
Holland Price (Brad Loree, 'Halloween: Resurrection') has his loving wife and child taken away by a psychotic stranger who sings "Hush, Little Baby" before slitting throats. A broken man, Price leaves town. But once he begins to rebuild his life, and finds a girlfriend, Mr. Hush (Edward X. Young) returns to wreak havoc once again, this time with a demonic sidekick played by Stephen Geoffreys ('Fright Night').
An epic battle between good and evil with supremely creepy performances, 'Mr. Hush' is a must-see for fans of the genre.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include: Introduction by director David Lee Madison and Brian O'Halloran (Clerks, Mallrats); Outtakes / Bloopers;"Mr. Hush" Music Video from the band "Visitor" (featuring Bill Gibson & Mario Cipollina from Huey Lewis & the News and Tal Morris from Creedence Clearwater Revisited); Audio Commentary from director David Lee Madison & Edward X. Young; Original Theatrical Trailers; and more!
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $24.95.
