Another animated Disney favorite will magically appear in high-definition this August!
In an early announcement to retailers, Disney/Buena Vista says 'The Sword in the Stone: 50th Anniversary Edition' will have a Blu-ray release on August 6.
When they learn that whoever pulls a bewitched sword from deep within a large stone will become the next King of England, many try to remove the sword and fail. For an awkward squire-in-training, the quest seems impossible. But with help from the legendary wizard Merlin, the young man's incredible dream just might be realized.
Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack is $36.99.
