Duke, Roadblock, Snake Eyes, and the rest of the team will be protecting both Blu-ray formats in July.
As previously reported, Paramount's 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' is in the works for Blu-ray, and now that date looks to be July 30.
'G.I. Joe: Retaliation – 3D' (2D included) will also be released at the same time.
A follow-up to the 2009 worldwide blockbuster 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,' which grossed over $300 million worldwide, Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Skydance Productions present, in association with Hasbro, a di Bonaventura Pictures production: 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation.' In this installment, the team is not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra, but they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The movie stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu; produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner and written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick, based on Hasbro's G.I. Joe characters.
Specs have not been revealed yet, but supplements include: G.I. Joe Declassified: Eight Part Making-of Documentary; Deleted Scenes; and more!
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is set at $39.99 and $54.99 for the Blu-ray 3D.
