'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' Blu-ray Dated & Detailed

The family film based on Jeff Kinney's illustrated novel will have a Blu-ray release in August.

20th Century Fox is working on 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' starring Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Rachael Harris, and Steve Zahn for a Blu-ray release on August 3.

The release will be a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack with 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Feature commentary with director Thor Freudenthal and writer Gabe Sachs, and Greg's Deleted Diary Pages.

The Blu-ray release apparently will also include additional cartoon pages inside the packaging.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
