The upcoming speaker base is designed to sit under a customer's TV.
Denon has announced details for its upcoming DHT-T110 TV Speaker Base. The audio device is capable of resting under TVs up to 50-inches and 60 pounds.
The DHT-T110 features two 2x5-inch oval drivers, two 0.5-inch dome tweeters, and two back-firing bass ports. In addition, the speaker includes optical, coaxial, and analog inputs, an integrated Dolby Digital decoder with Denon Virtual Surround, Dynamic Bass Technology, and Bluetooth with aptX streaming for high quality wireless audio. Finally, five listening modes and a special Night Mode for quieter playback are available as well.
Denon's DHT-T110 TV Speaker Base is expected to start shipping in mid-October for a suggested retail price of $349. The device is now poised to compete with several other similar speaker bases and sound stands, including the VIZIO S2121w, Bose Solo and the Samsung HW-H600.
