Joining its previously announced S-Series, Denon has now detailed another new collection of 2014 A/V receivers -- the updated In-Command line. The series will include the AVR-X1100W, AVR-X2100W, and AVR-X3100W.
The AVR-X1100W is rated for 7x80 watts into 8 ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz. Meanwhile, the AVR-X2100W is rated at 7x95 watts, and the AVR-X3100W is rated for 7x105 watts. All three models feature HDMI 2.0 connections with 60Hz 4K Ultra HD passthrough and support for the 21:9 aspect ratio. Likewise, each receiver also offers integrated DLNA networking, AirPlay, and Internet radio options. Finally, the AVR-X3100W adds DTS Neo:X and Dolby Pro Logic IIz multichannel post processing and Audyssey Dynamic Surround Expansion technology.
Denon is expected to start shipping the AVR-X1100W ($499) and AVR-X2100W ($699) in June. The AVR-X3100W ($999) will follow in July. Likewise, the S-Series AVR-S500BT ($249), AVR-S700W ($449), and AVR-S900W ($599) receivers are now available for pre-order for a June 15 release.
