January will feel the heat when Ron Howard sets Blu-ray ablaze this winter!
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal says 'Backdraft: Anniversary Edition' will hit Blu-ray on January 4.
This 1991 thriller involving Chicago firefighters stars Kurt Russell, William Baldwin, Robert De Niro, and Donal Sutherland, and was previously released on HD DVD.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements including: Ron Howard Introduction, Deleted Scenes, Igniting the Story, Bringing Together the Team, The Explosive Stunts, Creating the Villain: The Fire, Real-Life Firemen, and Real-Life Stories.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $26.98.
