BBC Brings 'Cranford' to Blu-ray

BBC Video has announced an April Blu-ray release for the acclaimed British mini-series 'Cranford.'

Based on the literary works of Elizabeth Gaskell, this BBC/Masterpiece Classic production stars Judi Dench, Imelda Staunton, and Michael Gambon.

BBC will release the complete series on Blu-ray April 14, day-and-date with the standard DVD.

The 291-minute program will be presented as a two-disc set. There's no word yet on further tech or supplement specs, but we'll keep you posted.

Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
