Actual content is on the way this fall.
The iPad is a brand new device that’s been incredibly successful. But there’s a problem. It doesn’t support Flash, which is a standard for websites across the internet, especially video streaming services.
One such service is CBS, which currently dishes out a single episode of Survivor and a few other clips to iPad users. If you visit on your computer though, you’ll be treated to a huge range of video clips.
CBS VP Anthony Soohoo says that’s all going to change this fall, when the company rolls out a new HTML5 compliant portal just for the iPad.
There won’t be any changes to the main site though. If you’re browsing on anything that’s not an iPad, you’ll get the standard Flash treatment.
