Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond & James May are heading to more locations around the world.
Following the announcement of Johannesburg as the first studio audience location for 'The Grand Tour,' Amazon has revealed more audience recording locations for the upcoming series. The show will conduct studio recordings in the UK, US, and Germany with live audiences housed in giant tents. In addition, Amazon is now offering a special 'Grand Tour' Prime Day Prize Draw.
The Prize Draw offers fans a chance to win a trip to attend a studio recording in the US this fall. The prize includes travel, accommodation, $200 spending money, and a meet and greet with hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. Customers can now enter at www.amazon.com/GTtickets. Entry will be open until midnight on Prime Day (July 12).
"Fans have been asking us where The Grand Tour will be filming and how they can attend. We're delighted to announce today new studio locations in the UK, U.S. and Germany as we continue our plans to bring this anticipated Amazon Original Series to fans around the world," said Jay Marine, VP of Amazon Video Europe. "The Grand Tour Prime Day Prize Draw opens today giving a chance for lucky customers to be the first to win tickets to join Jeremy, Richard and James in the studio. Good luck to all the fans!"
'The Grand Tour' is being produced by Andy Wilman and is set to premiere this fall exclusively on Amazon Prime. Exact cities and more locations for the studio audience recordings will be announced later this summer.
A current Amazon Prime subscription costs $99 per year or $11 per month. Likewise, Prime Video is available as a standalone service for $8 per month.
