The first season of the fantasy series rides to Blu-ray in September.
In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox will be releasing 'Sleepy Hollow: The Complete First Season' on Blu-ray on September 16.
From co-creators/executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (the Star Trek and Transformers franchises, Fringe) comes the adventure thriller Sleepy Hollow. In this modern-day retelling of Washington Irving's classic, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity's last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie, Shame, American Violet) to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.
The 3-disc set will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Welcome to Sleepy Hollow; Mysteries and Mythology: The Secrets of Sleepy Hollow; Deleted Scenes; The Corbin Files; Welcome to the 21st Century, Mr. Crane; The Horseman & The Horseman's Head; Audio Commentaries; and Gag Reel.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
