Warner Music Group (WEA) is throwing a headbangers ball on high-def this Spring, with the debut of two new Blu-ray music titles featuring Motley Crue and the all-star line-up of Ozzfest.
First up on April 29 is Motley Crue's first-ever next-gen release, 'Motley Crue: Carnival of Sins,' followed by a May 6 arrival for the live spectacular 'Ozzfest: 10th Anniversary,' featuring such top metal acts as Ozzy Osbourne, Anthrax, Rob Zombie, and a re-formed Black Sabbath.
WEA has not yet announced any specific tech specs or supplement details for the Blu-ray versions of either title. However, both were released previously on standard DVD with various extras and bonus tracks, so we can hope for a similar treatment on high-def. We'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail for both titles is $29.99 each.
You'll find the preliminary specs for 'Motley Crue: Carnival of Souls' and 'Ozzfest: 10th Anniversary' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where they're indexed under their respective street dates of April 29 and May 6.
We've also set up a dedicated thread for WEA's latest in our Forums area -- click the following link to discuss the 'Motley Crue: Carnival of Souls/Ozzfest: 10th Anniversary' Blu-ray releases.
