Announcing the first 'Star Wars' film for high-def, Warner will bring the animated adventure 'The Clone Wars' to Blu-ray in mid-November.
Meant to be a big-screen lead-in for the upcoming television series of the same name, 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' was a box office underachiever, and failed to scale anywhere near the heights of the live-action 'Star Wars' films. Warner will debut 'The Clone Wars' on Blu-ray November 11, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Tech specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/VC-1 video and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
Extras include a "Clone Wars: The Untold Stories" preview of the first season of the 'Clone Wars' TV series.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray is "A Creative Conversation" picture-in-picture commentary with director Dave Filoni, producer Catherine Winder, writer Henry Gilroy, and editor Jason W.A. Tucker, plus the interactive game "Take the Hologram Memory Challenge."
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $38.96.
