Announcing its latest "catch-up" title for Blu-ray, Universal has set a mid-February release for 'The Rundown.'
The action thriller, which stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, previously made its high-def bow on HD DVD back in late 2006. Universal will debut the Blu-ray on February 10.
Tech specs will feature a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p video and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track.
Extras will match the previous HD DVD, including a pair of audio commentaries (with Johnson and director Peter Berg, and a second with producers Kevin Misher and Marc Abraham), multiple making-of featurettes ("Rumble in the Jungle," "The Amazon, Hawaii Style," "Appetite For Destruction," "The Rundown Uncensored," "Running Down the Town," "Walken's World"), deleted scenes and a "PlayStation 3 Controller Static User Guide."
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.95.
