NAD Ships the T 977 Seven Channel Amp
Thu Dec 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM ET
You'll get 140 watts to each channel in the replacement to the T 975.
The folks at NAD have released a new amplifier designed to put some power in your home theater. The T 977 pumps out 140 watts per channel to seven channels while features like Soft Clipping make sure that your speakers don't get damaged by unexpected high-frequency sounds.
"The NAD T 977 embodies our latest thinking on amplifier design. That means an amplifier that excels under the most demanding conditions yet runs cool and is energy efficient," says NAD technology director Greg Stidsen. "Since many high performance systems are professionally installed, we made sure that this amplifier is easy to install and ultra-reliable."
The T 977 is going to be shown off at CES but is shipping now at a price of $2,799.
