Among those honored are Robert Metcalf, Sam Runco and Ralph Baer.
The 2011 class of CE Hall of Fame inductees is a strong one. It brings a few less expected names as well as some people who - if you didn't know any better - you might assume were already members.
Ralph Baer is one of those inductees. He might not be a household name to everyone, but Baer is the man that's generally credited as the inventor of videogames. He also created the first light gun for home use and the game Simon.
Sam Runco is another name that's probably familiar to most home theater enthusiasts. He's the man behind - if the name wasn't a giveaway- Runco International, best known for their high-end projectors.
Ivan Berger and Lance Braithwaite, who worked together in CE journalism were also inducted.
