The magical mystery/romance often compared to Christopher Nolan's 'The Prestige' is finally getting a domestic Blu-ray release in June.
In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox is bringing the catalog title 'The Illusionist' starring Edward Norton, Jessica Biel, and Paul Giamatti to Blu-ray on June 8.
The movie was previously available on the format as imports from Italy and Canada.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and although supplements still have to be revealed, this release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $24.99.
