'The Secret Life of Bees' is coming to Blu-ray, with Fox setting an early-February arrival for the heartwarming family drama.
Based on the best-selling book by Sue Monk Kidd, 'The Secret Life of Bees' stars Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keyes, and Dakota Fanning in the story of a multi-generational African-American family in South Carolina in the 1960s.
Fox will release the Oprah-championed sleeper on Blu-ray February 3, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Tech specs will see 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track.
There is currently no word on extras, but we expect final details in the days ahead. Stay tuned.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.99.
