As previously reported, both versions of the holiday film will be released on high-definition simultaneously this fall.
20th Century Fox will bring the Christmas films 'Miracle on 34th Street (1947)' and 'Miracle on 34th Street (1994)' to Blu-ray on October 6.
The original 1947 version will be presented in 1080p full screen with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Audio commentary by Maureen O’Hara, AMC Back Story: Miracle On 34th Street, Movietone News: Hollywood Spotlight, Promotional Spot, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: Floating in History, and a Poster Gallery.
As for the modern 1994 version, the release will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and there don't appear to be any bonus supplements.
Suggested list price for the Blu-rays is $34.99 each.
