Dolby Atmos Expands for 'Man of Steel'

Have your 'Man of Steel' tickets already? If you don't, I highly (and personally) recommend looking for a cinema auditorium outfited with Dolby Atmos.

Capable of up to 64.4 discrete channels of surround sound, Atmos is the most immersive sound experience I've ever heard. An experience you can't match at home. Dolby debuted Atmos last summer on 15 screens for Disney/Pixar's 'Brave'. By February of this year, it was in 70 cinemas worldwide. And, for today's day-and-date 'Man of Steel' release, that number has reached 200 thanks to new partnerships with Regal in the US, SPI Cinema in India, and Wanda Cinemaline Corporation in China.

Up until now, most US Atmos auditoriums were upgraded AMC ETX cinemas. Starting today, Regal Cinemas has equipped 20 of their RPX auditoriums around the country at the following locations:
