'Splice' Dated for Blu-ray

The sci-fi/horror film about a biological experiment gone wrong will be stalking high-definition this October!
In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers will be releasing 'Splice' to Blu-ray on October 5.
The film is directed by Vincenzo Natali and stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley as a pair of scientists who mess with nature by creating a new and very deadly lifeform known as "Dren."
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and although supplements have yet to be revealed, the release looks to be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $35.99.
