Fox Home Entertainment is bringing the Vin Diesel action film 'Babylon A.D.' to Blu-ray this January with hours of bonus materials and exclusive content.
A box office underperformer that was mauled by critics, the sci-fi yarn will hit Blu-ray January 6, day-and-date with the DVD.
Tech specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video (2.35:1) and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround audio.
Among the extras is a quartet of featurettes ("Babylon Babies," "Arctic Escape," "Fit For The Screen," "Flight of the Hummers"), the "Genesis of Aurora" short film and a still gallery.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray is a Bonus View picture-in-picture track "Scene Evolution" which features behind-the-scenes material on nearly two dozen sequences from the film.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.99.
