The legendary Zorro passes the torch to his protégé in high-definition this winter.
Sony says 'The Mask of Zorro' starring Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas, and Catherine Zeta-Jones will gallop to Blu-ray on December 1.
A sweeping tale of love and honor, tragedy and triumph, set against the Spanish conquest of Mexico, in 'The Mask of Zorro,' the legendary Zorro, Don Diego (Hopkins) must transform a troubled drifter (Banderas) into the fearless hero he once was.
Specs for the Blu-ray have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include: Director's Commentary, Unmasking Zorro, Deleted Scenes, The Legend of Zorro Behind-the-Scenes Sneak Peek, and an exclusive scene from "The Legend of Zorro."
The Blu-ray will also feature Sony's MovieIQ and BD-Live.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $24.95.
The disc will also be available in a 2-pack with the previously released sequel 'The Legend of Zorro' with the suggested list price of $49.95.
