Paramount Brings 'Freedom Writers' to Blu-ray, HD DVD

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the theatrical sleeper hit 'Freedom Writers' to Blu-ray and HD DVD this spring.

Starring two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank, the inspirational story of an inner-city school teacher surprisingly earned over $40 million at the domestic box office last January.

Paramount will debut the film on both Blu-ray and HD DVD on May 22.

No specs have yet been announced, but we expect further details in the days ahead.
