'Ghost' to Haunt Blu-ray this December
Thu Sep 25, 2008 at 09:00 AM ETTags: Disc Announcements, Paramount (all tags)
After a delay of more than a year, Paramount has given the supernatural blockbuster 'Ghost' a late-December Blu-ray bow.
Originally set for release on HD DVD and Blu-ray in mid-2007, Paramount subsequently yanked the Oscar-nominated Patrick Swayze-Demi Moore starrer from its next-gen schedule. Now high-def fans can mark December 30 on their calendars, when the studio will finally issue the film on Blu-ray in special edition form.
There are no tech specs as of yet, but supplements are expected to match those found on the deluxe DVD released in 2004.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99.
You'll find preliminary specs for 'Ghost' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under December 30.
