The extensive documentary on NASA's Apollo missions will be blasting off to Blu-ray this August.
In an early announcement to retailers, Image Entertainment says 'In the Shadow of the Moon' is coming to Blu-ray on August 10.
The documentary is directed by David Sington and includes a wealth of interviews with surviving astronauts who journeyed to our Moon.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Feature Commentary with David Sington, David Fairhead and Chris Riley, Ron Howard Film Intro, Scoring Apollo: A Short Feature with Composer Philip Sheppard, Bonus Interviews and Stories, Ron Howard: Inspired by Apollo, and a Theatrical Trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
