Warner is returning to the world of 'The Matrix,' bringing a 10th anniversary DigiBook version of the sci-fi classic to Blu-ray this March.
Previously only available as part of the multi-disc 'Ultimate Matrix Collection' (where it was packaged along with 'The Matrix Reloaded' and 'The Matrix Revolutions'), 'The Matrix' will receive its first stand-alone high-def release on March 24.
Extras included in 'The Matrix: 10th Anniversary Edition' will match those on the previous release, including a quartet of audio commentaries, "The Matrix Revisited" and "Behind the Matrix" documentaries, a "Music Revisited" featurette, "Take the Red Pills" and 'Follow the White Rabbit" branching functions, a Marilyn Manson music video and theatrical trailers.
Blu-ray exclusives will also carry over from the previous release, with a picture-in-picture (Bonus View) track featuring additional cast & crew interviews and behind-the-scenes material.
New to the 10th Anniversary Edition is a collectible DigiBook package with a 47-page full-color booklet, plus (on a second standard DVD) a Digital Copy of the film compatible with PCs, PSP and iTunes.
There are no tech specs confirmed as of yet, but we'll keep you posted.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.99.
