'Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys' stars Shannen Doherty ('Beverley Hills 90210'), Christopher Lloyd ('Back to the Future') and Jason Brooks ('Days of our Lives'). The film follows Michael (Brooks), a fish and wildlife expert who moves to a new town with his wife Cate (Doherty). After being summoned by the town mayor to help deal with its attacking fish problem, it first appears like a straight forward job -- however with these eel-like fish on the loose, the town's residents quickly learn that a casual dip in the pool or routine trip to the toilet can turn deadly as the lampreys hunt for their next victim. Toshiba Introduces Encore 2 Tablets[teaser]The company has announced two new affordable Windows tablet models. [/teaser] Toshiba has detailed a new addition to its tablet lineup, the Encore 2. Serving as the successor to the previously released Encore tablet, the upcoming Encore 2 will be available in 8-inch and 10-inch versions and will run Windows 8.1. The Encore 2 is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core CPU, 1GB or 2GB RAM options, and 32GB or 64GB storage options. Both the 8-inch and 10-inch models feature a 1280x800 IPS display, and each tablet includes an integrated 5MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front camera. In addition, the Encore 2 also offers a MicroSD slot, WiFi support, and Bluetooth capabilities. Finally, the 10-inch model will include a micro HDMI port and an optional keyboard attachment as well. LG Reveals G3 Smartphone[teaser]The 5.5-inch Quad HD smartphone has been fully detailed. [/teaser] After months of speculation, LG has finally unveiled its latest flagship smartphone. As previous rumors suggested, the G3 will indeed feature a Quad HD display along with other impressive specs and a focus on improved user experiences. "The smartest innovation in a fast evolving smartphone market is creating harmony between advanced technology and a simplified user experience," said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. "LG G3 is the result of our effort to actualize that idea into a tangible product. And we are extremely pleased with the result." The G3 uses a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a pixel density of 538ppi. Under the hood, the mobile device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU, 2 or 3GB RAM options, 16 or 32GB storage options, and a removable 3,000mAh battery all running Android 4.4.2. A 13MP rear camera with OIS+ and Laser Auto Focus technology, and a 2.1MP front camera are included as well. In addition, the phone features a Floating Arc design, LG's Rear Key button placement, and a metallic skin with matte finish on the rear cover for a sleek and ergonomic construction.
