'Blue Ruin' Dated for Blu-ray[teaser]Jeremy Saulnier's revenge thriller will be available on Blu-ray in July. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Starz/Anchor Bay is preparing 'Blue Ruin' for Blu-ray on July 22. Blue Ruin is a classic American revenge story that recently won the FIPRESCI International Critics Prize at the Cannes Film Festival where it screened in the Directors' Fortnight. The film follows a mysterious outsider whose quiet life is turned upside down when he returns to his childhood home to carry out an act of vengeance. Proving himself an amateur assassin, he winds up in a brutal fight to protect his estranged family. 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' Blu-ray Up for Pre-Order![teaser]The hazardous western comedy is now available for Blu-ray pre-orders at Amazon! [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Universal will be releasing 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' on Blu-ray in the near future. Seth MacFarlane directs, produces, co-writes and plays the role of the cowardly sheep farmer Albert in A Million Ways to Die in the West. After Albert backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge, the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test. Starring alongside MacFarlane are Oscar winner Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Giovanni Ribisi, Sarah Silverman and Neil Patrick Harris. MacFarlane reunites many of the filmmakers behind Universal and MRC’s hit film Ted including Scott Stuber (Bluegrass Films) and Jason Clark who produce, and Wellesley Wild and Alec Sulkin who co-wrote the script. 'The Nutty Professor: 50th Anniversary' Blu-ray Announced[teaser]The classic Jerry Lewis comedy is getting a 50th Anniversary Blu-ray edition in September! Pre-order here! [/teaser]In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Bros. is preparing 'The Nutty Professor: 50th Anniversary' for Blu-ray on September 16. Jerry Lewis directed, co-wrote and starred in this riotously funny movie that set a new standard for screen comedy and inspired the hit remake. Lewis plays a timid, nearsighted chemistry teacher who discovers a magical potion that can transform him into a suave and handsome Romeo. The Jekyll and Hyde game works well enough until the concoction starts to wear off at the most embarrassing times, and the professor begins to suffer hilarious symptoms of his personality split. The ProArt PA328Q offers professional level picture quality and accuracy. The monitor features a 32-inch WLED panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, 138ppi, and a 16:9 aspect ration. Dell Unveils Updated Venue Tablets[teaser]The 2014 models offer improved specs at affordable prices. [/teaser] Dell has officially announced new editions of its Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets. The upcoming devices are geared toward productivity and entertainment applications and feature convenient, light designs. "The Dell Venue tablets and Inspiron 2-in-1s are designed to be essential companions to power projects, provide entertainment, and share meaningful moments with family and friends," said Sam Burd, vice president and general manager, Dell Personal Computing Product Group. "Dell customers have more flexibility than ever before to have their technology move with them throughout the day and become a seamless part of their lives." The Venue 7 is powered by an Atom Z3460 CPU and features a 7-inch 1280x800 display. A 5MP rear camera and 1MP front camera are also included. Meanwhile, the Venue 8 is powered by an Atom Z3480 processor and uses an 8-inch 1920x1200 screen. A 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera are integrated as well. In addition, both tablets come in red or black options and run Android 4.4 with 16GB of storage. Dell's 2014 Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets will start shipping on July 1 for a suggested retail price of $160 and $200 respectively.
